Dear all
Most of our membership types have a membership based on financial year, with a one month grace period now complete.

However members who should have expired on 1 July 2010 are still showing status as current (those who expired in 2009 are showing as expired). But I just noticed that if I open an individual membership (one that ended on 30 June) via the edit button, then click on save, it updates the status to expired.

Is there a way to get the others to expire?

I have also noticed that when I renew a member or create a new member, it gives today as the join date, but does not suggest the start or end date - (1 July and 30 June). Could this be related.

Please note that we have only been using this  system for a couple of months and are not computing experts, so will not be insulted by very simple explanations!
