Importing Issue
September 20, 2010, 12:33:51 pm
I read through several posts and didn't see anything regarding how one might go about fixing this issue.

Using Joomla 1.5.20 and CiviCRM 3.2.2.

I am attempting to import contacts using a csv file.

My initial attempt had 28,000 contacts (438kb).  I have also attempted splitting the file into 10,000 and 5,000.

It hangs up when I click "Continue" after matching fields.  A blank page comes up and I receive no errors.  I am assuming I'm getting timed out.

Best way to solve this?

what /who is your hosting provider. Might want to check your php error logs (typically in apache logs)

if i had to guess, u r running out of php memory (hence the blank page) and/or timing out
