Why doesn't Civi have a repository for custom reports, modules, etc that are written for it like drupal does?

Seems like there's quite alot of people that have created code/modules and reports and would be willing to share those but there is currently no centrally located place to post these where they are easily found.


Is this something Civi would consider doing?
