Profile changes require admin approval?
September 21, 2010, 10:25:04 am
Is it possible to allow users to update their profile but require administrator approval before those changes are displayed on the live site?

Thanks!

no

might be able to do something with multiple profiles and add members to a pending group etc. however that works for new contacts, editing a contact will be problematic

ahh: but u can do that via a hook. whenever a profile is edited/created move them to a pending group. when approved, the admin moves them to another approved group which is linked to a profile (limit listings to groups etc)

Thanks, I was thinking something along the same lines. I guess that means that when they're in the pending state they will be removed from the site. Should be okay though.
