Personal Campaign Pages for event participants

Is there a way to attach Personal Campaign Pages to an event participant?
I want the participants to be able to raise money for their entry via the Personal Campaign Page.

Also, is there a way to remove civicrm from the url path?

Nope.

You will have to create separate contribution page and enable PCP for that page.
