When I run civi.cronjob.php manually, I connect to the mail server, authenticate, mailboxes are found and mail is fetched. However, all messages are set as seen and moved to "ignored" mailbox.

Because of this, unread bounced email notifications are marked as seen and ignored, rather than processed, which means that civicrm isn't recording bounce rates for me.

I want to be able to track delivery success rates, but can't tell how many emails are bouncing through civicrm. I can confirm through the server logs that emails are, indeed, bouncing.

Any suggestions as to what may cause all mail to be ignored? I'm using sub-addressing for my bounce box, if that helps.

The recommended way of processing bounces is EmailProcessor. Read this chapter for the details:

Thank you. I realize I mis-spoke and have been using EmailProcessor.php. I've run through all the instructions in the manual multiple times to set up a sub-addressed email account to record bounces and all mail continues to be marked as seen and ignored, rather than processed.

Any other suggestions on what else I might try?

I am having the same issue and have not been able to solve my problem.  What material should I post to enable someone to assist me solve this.  Would the email headers be helpful?

I have grappled with this for a while (including reading the manual  ;)) but haven't got to the bottom of the problem yet.

Any help appreciated.
