Good Afternoon,

I am new to Civi and was working with the USPS address plugin. I have been granted access to the production URL and inputted the (http://production.shippingapis.com/) web address per the email I received from the USPS in addition to my username and USPS as the provider. When I tested the plugin by updating a contact I received this error USPS Address Lookup Failed status code: 403.

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can get it up and running? If it helps, they also provided me with this URL (https://secure.shippingapis.com/) which I tried as well.

403 means "forbidden access" by the web server:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_403

... so first guess is that USPS is not recognizing your username / account. I suspect you'll need to work w/ someone there to figure out what's going on if you've already triple checked your login info.
