Iam testing CiviCRM on joomla.

I don't understand how to integrate member registration like this....

example:  http://www.uas.coop/user/register

can anyone help me ?

The integration with user registration is available only on Drupal since it allows extensions of core forms via the hook system

Is this still the case now?
I want to integrate user registration the same way on my Joomla 1.5.20 site - is this possible please?
