Hey there, I've written a module which adds a block to civicrm pages that accepts a CID and profile ID and provides a checksum link to the given profile for the contact with the provided CID.

I think it would be useful for this (or something like it,) to be added to the demo site (and perhaps civi core) so that checksum issues can be tested and verified against the demo & sandbox versions of civi. This would also be useful for those who wish to occasionally send checksum links from outside the civimail system.

The code requires civicrm's jquery ui and adds a permission (called "Generate CiviCRM checksums externally") which must be enabled for roles wanting to generate checksums.
