Duplicate Database Error on Email Update - Using Joomla
October 11, 2010, 12:22:05 pm
I have been testing our user base as we prepare to make the switch to Civi, however today I am discovering that when we attempt to update the user email address (both from the front end as the user and the back end as an admin) we get the "Non-Recoverable Error" that the email is a "Duplicate entry". However, the email is not elsewhere in the database, I have double and triple checked. I also purged the cache.

Has anyone else had this issue before?

Well gee, that was simple. I assumed when I deleted previously by selecting "Permanently Delete" I wouldn't have that issue. Thank you Peter
