Personal Contribution Pages

I am having a difficult time formatting and saving a picture on the Personal Contribution Pages.
I am doing a test run before we hand the job over to our constituents, but the test pages I have tried to create do not have the same features that the examples from the online manuals do. I am not allowed to save a picture (even though the picture is within the pixel requirements) and I cannot format the text (it shows up in one block without paragraph delineation).
What can I do to make a picture show up on the PCP? How can I make it so there is paragraph formatting?

I used photo shop to change the image size of my photo. Once I saved it on my computer, I then clicked the browse button to upload my image.

To format the text you can use html  -

For example - you can cut and paste below and substitute with your own text

Thanks Mari,
However, on each personal campaign page, there is no option to switch to html in order to format the text...and even if there was, how could I make it user friendly to the other constituents that may possibly make a page?
I've also re-sized my photo to be smaller than the requirements, but it still does not upload to the PCP?
Is it possible that there is a glitch with the version on Civi we have?
