Serious MySQL Problem
October 13, 2010, 12:08:31 am
I'm not quite sure which board this should go in, so sorry if it's in the wrong place!

I'm having a serious problem with the mysql database - unless I force mysql to --skip-grant-tables when it loads the 'root@localhost' user can't see any of the drupal or civicrm tables, and so the system cannot run.  This all happened after a failed upgrade of the opensolaris operating system the server is running.  I'll be a very unpopular person if all the work my team has done on moving our contacts onto CiviCRM is wasted!

So, my questions are:
1) Has anyone ever had this before?
2) What should the permissions be in the mysql users table (and any other relevant tables) for everything to work right?

Thanks in advance!

Mark
