How to activate and show registrations publicly + multiple payment
November 19, 2007, 08:01:07 pm
Hi,

I have 2 problems.

1) I'm not sure how I can make a CiviEvent publicly viewable and not only in the admin panel so public/registered people can register for our event. I created the entire event and everything.

2) I need to be able to have multiple registrations that use specific google checkout accounts. For example, 1 is for a local leadership retreat and that means they have their own google checkout, while another is for the national organization that will send you a hoodie if you donate $30 or more. How can I have them seperate? thank you.

Regarding item 1 - have you read this documentation:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Configuring+Front-end+Event+Info+and+Registration+in+Joomla%21+Sites

... if you've followed these procedures and are still having problems - post back with step-by-step specifics of what you've done and what issues you've hit. Remember to include info about PHP version, Joomla version, CiviCRM version.

Regarding item 2 - Assuming you are running 1.8 or 1.9, you can create as many Payment Processor configurations as needed - each using Google Checkout - but associated with a different Google merchant account. Then link each event you create is configured to use a particular processor in the Event Fees section. See the pages on our demo site for examples:
http://demo.civicrm.org/drupal/civicrm/admin/paymentProcessor?reset=1
