How to send only text-mails (no HTML)

Hi all,

where can I set, that only text-mails are sent with a massmailing?
I can not send HTML, as many spamfilters kill our mails...

Hey,

If you fill in only text version field and leave HTML field empty, it should send out text only mailing.

 :( no, it does not. it just adds the HTML headers and footers to the empty HTML-Message.

Hi,

Not sure

You might need to create header and footer that don't have any html part ?

How do you know that your mailings end up in the spam ? Might be due to the view tracking, or not so good html, or your content, or your IP being banned, or ....

Spam filtering is a bit of black magic, if you want to improve you chances of going through, be sure you are set up as we described in the book

And update to the latest version of Civi if not done already
