Payflow Link, I see Payflow Pro but not sure if this

alternative options works as well? http://bit.ly/9ahoNA

If not I noticed an ubercart module that works with it http://drupalmodules.com/module/ubercart-payflow-link not sure if it's code could be made as a plugin for the civi options?

If it does not exist and this alternative code is a possible solutions any thoughts on how many hours to make the addition to civi's code?

Thanks

Eileen

Looks like payflow link redirects to a payment page hosted @ paypal whereas payflow pro is on-site. Generally with off-site there is some IPN code to be written to translate the POSTs back from the website into a success / fail outcome so they require relatively different code.

If developing for Paypal you have to add 3-5 hours just to deal with their difficult sandbox....

I was thinking the same thing about the sandbox  :) 0r  :'(

Maybe the ubercart module for it will help and I can turn it into a civicrm payment gateway plugin since that is what the client "needs" or maybe they can just use payflow pro.

Thanks though for the feedback.

Yeah, my experience is that I generally don't find it a lot easier to use a processor for another service as the starting point. With some exceptions the processor themselves aren't that difficult but the integration is usually the challenge
