"Page not found" error when attempting to enable "civicrm_events" view
October 18, 2010, 05:01:46 pm
When I attempt to enable the "civicrm_events" view, I get this error:
Quote
Page not found
The requested page could not be found.

I have separate databases for Civi and Drupal, with separate login credentials for each. But I followed all the instructions here:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC32/Using+Drupal+Calendar+with+CiviEvent
http://andrewbrookins.com/redspire/civicrm-views-2-integration-remote-civicrm-database

It doesn't seem to make a difference, though. I still can't enable the view.

Is there a way to reset the "civicrm_events" view? Or grab a fresh copy from somewhere?

Also, is there documentation somewhere for creating a CiviCRM view from scratch?

Thanks,
James

A few suggestions:
  • Have you checked that you are following everything at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC32/Views2+Integration+Module since you have your Drupal and CiviCRM tables in different dbs?
  • Have you considered using http://drupal.org/project/civicrm_eventblock ?
  • You might want to check your apache log file to track down the issue. Look in your httpd.conf (or equivalent file on your OS for apache configuration) and find the ErrorLog specified for the site you are working on, then examine the entries for when your WSOD (white screen of death) appeared.
