Member edits two profiles with different fields - how to set up in Joomla???
October 20, 2010, 05:57:16 am
I am setting up a Joomla CiviCRM site with 2 types of membership. The regular member is required to fill out 3 additional fields but the associate member is not.

Members will be able to log in and edit their information.

I can create 2 different profiles and set up 2 different membership application forms.

How can I set up CiviCRM so that the member only edits his regular/associate member profile?

Is there some way of setting up the Joomla menu item so that it specifies the regular/associate member profile automatically that the user has set up? I know that you can specifiy the profile manually but I think 2 links will be confusing.

Or is there a better way of doing this?
