Date Added search results - adds all contacts in DB to group

On the demo site at http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm:

I ran the search by Date Added on the group for the dates Oct 20 1991 to Oct 20 2010 (to catch everyone), selected the group 'BOT Match' and selected all 2 records. Then from the Actions dropdown, chose Add contacts to Group.

On the Add Contacts to A Group page:

Number of selected contacts: 114

That's a lot more than 2.

Is it this bug: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6356 ('Search by Date Added is broken in 3.2'...) ? Or another one? Is Date Added core?

Hi

I can't do anything with the Date Added search results except open individual records and export the results.

I was hoping to export the results and import into a group, but the exported results aren't in the right format for reimporting.

I have 307 new contacts that need to be deleted. There doesn't seem to be a way to either delete them or put them in a group for deletion while I can't work with the search results in any way.

This is critical to our work. Could someone please reply? Is there a patch somewhere for this?

the actions drop down allows me to add these contacts to a group / delete them etc

In 3.2.3, those options appear in the dropdown, but they don't work

For 3.2.3? I replicated this on the demo server when it was running 3.2.3.

Is it possible to copy this search from the latest version to somewhere in our 3.2.3 installation and have it work?
