Uploading images
October 21, 2010, 09:04:48 am
I am running CiviCRM in a Drupal installation and can't seem to upload images when creating an event. When using CKeditor in Drupal I get the browse button when I go to the image icon in CKeditor but when editing an even while in CiviCRM using the image button gives no browse button text the URL text input box.

Is this not functional in CiviCRM or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

qjensen

CiviCRM has its own version of CKEditor installed and does not use what you have installed in Drupal which means no IMCE file upload function. You could use something like CKFinder to add the functionality to the CiviCRM install of CKEditor (warning - commercial software).

You will find CiviCRM's CKEditor in sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/ckeditor.

Or you could create a dummy node in Drupal, use CKeditor and upload your image, then copy and paste the <img> into your Civi Event.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
