Someone recently asked me if there was a way to "bulk enter" contributions.  Similar to the way that a profile could be used to streamline the entry of contacts.  When i tried to make a profile for contributions the problem i ran up against was how to attribute that contribution to an existing, or a NEW contact because profiles can only have fields associated with one record type.

Am I missing something obvious?

The end goal is a simple contribution entry form:
Name
Address
Date
Amount
Method
Type
