Delayed or Duplicate replies from July mailing?

We received dozens of delayed or duplicate replies at approximately 5AM MDT on October 25th to a message sent that was sent in July. It appears that civismtp.uas.coop received these replies in July, but they are just now being relayed down the line of smtp servers to recipients. Any thoughts on why these were caught in limbo for four+ months?

we apologize for the delayed and duplicate messages mentioned here.

what happened is there's some problem with your soap proxy where it closes the connection when processing responses after a certain time or certain amount of responses, we are still investigating why exactly. this caused the responses to back up in our queues and there was a bug that wasn't processing the backed up messages appropriately. we are working on fixing this bug. we'll keep you posted on the progress. there are still some backed up messages for your account.

not sure about the last message you mentioned here that your user received. was this related to a mailing?
