New install error

Hi there,

I'm getting this error after successful installation.
Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
DB Error: syntax error
Error Details
Return to home page.

Running joomla 1.5.20
mysql 5.0.67

Any ideas

I am getting the same error.
CiviCRM 3.2.5
Joomla 5.12
Joomla installer says that installation was OK but when any attempt is made to rum CiviCRM, I get that error.

I have previously installed CiviCRM 3.2.5 successfully on the same server (actually the databases are on differnent servers) but using Joomla 5.20 in a differene siteapp directory.

One difference: Joomla 5.20 was installed by cPanel but 5.12 was copied from another server when the site was moved.

More information:
One versions is on a mySql 4.x and the other on 5.x. I think that's the issue.

Simple answer: Wrong MySQL version.
