Has it ever been discussed to have the event module feature a planning backend as well?
I am currently in the process of setting up CiviCRM for the activities of my organisation, but I find I also need a project wiki for planning the event. It would be useful if this could be tied into CiviEvent as well.

Hi,

that kind of content feature is IMO better handled by a CMS (eg. drupal).

It's easy to create a hook where everytime to create an event you create a wiki page, and create a custom template to display that link, or whatever you want.

Some people have discussed using CiviCase, i.e. having one case per event. This wouldn't be useful if you're looking for discussion boards etc, but for example if you have a list of tasks for each event-type and want to track that.
