Hi,
On a new setup of Civi, when sending out a mailing it sends, I click on the report it says that all emails have been sent. But not all recipients recieve the email.

I have done some test mailings and it seems that about 30ish emails are recieved out of about 40 sent and it is different emails not sent to each time.

I have tried sending in smaller batches, different timings for the cron job, using mail() and smtp nothing seems to make a difference.

Any ideas much appreciated!!

Hi,

Check your mail server log to be sure they haven't been sent. eg if your SPF is wrongly configured or are using a moronic mail server (exchange, I'm looking at you), might be that the recipient's mail server rejects it.

Setting a proper sending is not trivial, our chapter in the book should help you
