Really slow registration

Hi,

When i register to an event it takes like 40-60 seconds.. I have tried to find simular issues here on the forum and the only thing I could find was to increase the memory limit but we have it set to 128MB.. will it really help to set it higher?

Any other solutions out there?

If I'm not wrong 64M is also quite enough to run CiviCRM 3.2
( I think only 32M is minimum requirement )

yep, something is weird w/ your installation, I also feel it took some extra time to complete the registration.

you might want to setup same event w/ our public demo site : http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/

and lets try out registration and do check registration time, I'd like to know feedback.

hmmm.. could really the settings for the event itself be the problem? feels more like a civicrm settings problem :P

Its may or may not be the problem with event setups.

In case you get time to setups same event with our public demo site : http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/
and lets have close look/observation on speed and all, that might going to give us some hints/directions.

It´s done :)

However... I could not make a menu item to the event..
