Activity Report Adapation

I'm making an adaption to the Activity Report.

For each Contact i've grouped activities by activitiy type.  Now I want to add the duration of all the activities together for each activity type.  Any tips on how i could achieve this?

(haven't checked the report)

At the sql level you can add a sum(activity_duration).
