custom fields selection not saved

hi

i just added a custom field for contacts with multiselect. however if i check the box and click save, it says that the contact hast been updated but the selection from the custom field is not saved. I read about this bug but found no solution.

any ideas?

solved the problem:)

date length for database was too short
