Current Version of 1.9?
November 24, 2007, 05:58:35 pm
Hi all, this is a pretty basic question.  I am now running CiviCrm 1.8.11536 on Joomla 1.0.13 with PHP5

At the top of my CiviCRM administration panel there is a yellow box that says: "A newer version of CiviCRM is available: 1.9.12266 (this site is currently running 1.8.11536)"

So, I want to upgrade to 1.9, but I don't want to do it twice.  Everywhere I look (sourceforge, etc.) the only version I can find is 1.9.11960.  Since the version listed in the box on my civiCRM is newer, I would prefer to use that one, if available.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Marilyn

This anomaly probably is because of our recent move of servers. We will be releasing a new version of 1.9 later this week. You might want to wait for this and then upgrade

thanx

Ok - thanks.  I got antsy today and started the move, good practice for later.  I did have a problem (see next post) - any advice on that front also would be greatly appreciated!
