I have created numerous custom tabs on 2 different Civi 3.2.3. systems (Different Servers - 1 dedicated) running on Joomla 1.5.20.

The issue I am seeing is this:

I created a Custom Data Set Named Test1, Used for Contacts, Display Style is Tab, etc. etc..
In this Test1 Set I have created 2 Custom Fields - Field1 and Field2 (I have tested this with various different combinations of alpha, yes/no, date). Saved everything, went to a recent contact (or searched for contacts) that was viewed and the Tab - Test1 is visible with the 2 fields - field1 and field2.

If I go back to the Custom Data Set Test1 and and add field3, it seems like hours before that field shows on the Tab "Test1" when looking at a contact.

I can click on Edit Test1 and all 3 fields are there, but after I click on "Save" to save what ever changes I have made to those 3 fields regardless of data type, when returning to the Summary View, Test1 Tab, only field1 and field2 are displayed and do not display the changes that were made in edit mode.

Inline Custom Data sets do not exhibit this issue.

Thoughts?

On 3.2.3 as well.

Interesting thing just happened, I added a Group to a contact record. The Group Tab showed the contact was in 3 Groups at that point, but the 3rd Group that was added, isn't displayed yet.  It will eventually.

Just loaded the 3.3 alpha on a test system and still experiencing the same anomoly. After awhile, the dta will show, seems to show up between 45 minutes to an hour.
