Is there a way to create a group or other list of contacts who opened a given CiviMail msg? Even just a way to make a list of their email addresses to then import as a group? We're looking for a way to separate those who open a msg from those who don't, in order to better customize the next msg in an outreach campaign.

1) keep in mind that some users will read the email without displaying the images, ie. they won't be counted as readers, even if they did

2) Not directly, however, you can write a custom search to fetch the contacts based on this (or on clicks, or both).

there is an effort underway to get the civimail reports into 3.3 as civireports. If you'd like to push this forward and complete the work needed, please contact us on IRC. From what i understand, a fair amount of the work is already done
