Hello all,

I have a client who would like to be able to send an email through civimail using either email address a (personal) or email address b (work), depending on the content of the email. Is there any way to do this, other than to change the primary email address of the contact? The client suggested we enter the contact twice, one with each email address, but obviously this is not an ideal situation.

Any ideas about how I could handle this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

each contact has one email used for mass mailing, and one for "normal" ones.

You can't say that for this mailing use this address and for that one use the other if you always want to use civimail.

(not sure how you'd be able to do anyway, can you tell more about your use case?)
