Using paypal for civic contribute-Really urgent help needed

Hi
Do we need to enter details for the Processor details for test payments and LIVE paypments too while using the payment processor.
I want to use the standard paypal account processor
I have entered my details but when on the form I click the confirm contribution the page doesnt goto paypal for payment processing why is it happening so?
Am I missing something?
