Import CSV Files with a large number of lines

Hi,
I've got problem importing contact from a csv file with over 1500 line.

At this time I tried to import file with only email column and no more.
The problem is that web page goes in Time Out while it import new contact in DB.

is there a way to import files csv of a large number of lines?

many of us have succeeded with bigger files - sometimes your browser times out and the import continues - if you have a unique Id field you import then you can track that using Search Builder

if it does time out you need to go look for error reports in (approx.) files/uploads
