upgrading from 3.1.3 to 3.2.4 - HELP

Hi I am fairly new to CiviCRM and want to upgrade from 3.1.3 to  3.2.4 and have no clue what to do and am not able to find a place where there are step by step instructions  :-[

can anybody help me where do I read on where to start?
