CiviCRM Link Not Appearing
November 25, 2010, 03:46:46 pm
Hello!

I recently installed a brand new version of CiviCRM, and so far, the installation has been going great, but now I've run into a bit of a bump.

I finished the installation of the module into my Drupal installation and I assigned the proper permissions and everything. In my main "site" navigation in Drupal, another listing appears at the top (Where it should say CiviCRM) but instead, this is blank.

If anybody can share their infinite wisdom on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated! :) :) :)

Thanks in advance!!!!!

-Zach

Hello Zach,

I assure you, the wisdom is far from infinite...lol

In Drupal, go to People-->Permissions, and double check that your group has the "Access CiviCRM" Permission Checked.

When I first started using Civi, I created an admin group in Drupal and found that I couldn't access CiviCRM. the reason? I had forgotten to give the new group the Access CiviCRM permission. had all the others, except for the most imoprtant one.

Cheers,
Jason
