Quick Search Showing All Contacts for ACL Role..
November 29, 2010, 01:45:33 am
Hi,

Not sure if we can call it a bug. But i found a issue.
  • I created a Drupal and ACL Role "R1".
  • Create a group with the same name (R1).
  • Assigned the Role the R1 to Drupal-civi user "A"
  • Created civi Group "R1"
  • Logged in as user "A" and start typing on quick search. Showed me related all records not blelonging group "R1" But when i select any record it says You are not authrize to view this page. which is correct as the record does not belong t o group "R1"
  • Assigned group "R1" to user "A". NOw it shows me only the records with R1 group. Which is correct.
I feel the quick search should not show any record if a user has a ACL role assigned to him ad no group is assigned to him.
