joomla civicrmdata into drupal
November 29, 2007, 06:15:41 pm
I have  civicrm 1.7.9379 (approx 300 members) with few custom fields, member types etc running under joomla 1.0.12
I want to port it over to a new drupal 5.3 install of civicrm 1.9.
can I just export & import the database or will I have to tweak things?
fingers crossed
Lesley

ps no joomla tables involved only civicrm and no users to transfer either

i would upgrade the joomla civicrm database to 1.9 using the mysql upgrade scripts provided and use that in a drupal install. you might want to truncate the civicrm_uf_match table which is the only CMS specific table
