Remove American Express Card Type

We don't accept American Express.  The only way I've found to remove Amex from the Contribute page drop-down is by deleting it from the civicrm_options_value table (id="60" as of this posting).  Is this the only way? The best way?

You could either delete /disable the option value for it to be un-able to be selected.
With disable you can always go back and enable, should you decide in favor of using the option while delete completely removes it from the system.
