Has the CiviCRM developmen team updated procedures for updated Transifex
December 04, 2010, 10:33:26 am
There has been a recent upgrade of the Transifex-site and since then I can't seem to find the resources (which is what they call the .po files now). There is an indication of changed procedures for developers here: http://help.transifex.net/user-guide/one-dot-zero.html#migrating-your-project.

I desperately need to get to the .pot/.po files to translate some strings. Any ideas how to get them except Transifex?

Hey,

We've been busy with releasing stable, so we didn't look into recent Transifex changes yet - we're starting to do it today, will be ready in next 1-2 days.

You can get po/pot files from here in the meantime: https://github.com/civicrm/l10n

Thx,
m

I have not yet updated to 3.3.2, but are you pulling new translations from Transifex into those releases? You indicated http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,17932.msg74582.html#msg74582 that you have not yet automated the process...

3.3.2 missed the new translations, but 3.3.3 (to be released this week, probably tomorrow) will have new translations (we still pull them by hand, but I’ll do that before the release).

Seems like 3.3.3 also missed them  ???

So I'm attempting to pull them of Transifex using tx and building an .mo file for local upload.

Yes, unfortunately we had a bit of a miscommunication and rolled out 3.3.3 a minute before I was able to  push the recompiled MO files. :(

I did a pull from Transifex and a 3.2 ↔ 3.3 merge and pushed to Git repository; the MO files are also freshly recompiled and available in the Subversion repository. I’m slowly pushing the merge back to Transifex itself (it takes ages; we’ll address this by having CiviCRM version-independent PO files once we’re done with major CiviCRM 3.4 issues).
