CiviCampaign Options not showing in menu after 3.2 > 3.3 upgrade.
December 05, 2010, 03:57:03 pm

Hi all.

I've upgraded from 3.2 to 3.3 yet even though CiviCampaign is enabled, in the "Other" menu, I see no CiviCampaign menu items.

When I was running under 3.2, I had CiviEngage running as an addon module under sites/all/modules/civiengage.

I notice under 3.3 it's present under sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules

If I enable that module, I lose my civicrm admin menu. I can still print my walklists without that module, so what's it needed for? Do I need the CiviEngage module enabled for CiviCampaign to work?

What do I need to do to get CiviCampaign to appear in my admin menus?

Thanks!

You don't need to have CiviEngage module enabled for CiviCampaign to work.

CiviCampaign is a core CiviCRM component which we have developed in CiviCRM v3.3.
you might want to read the blog on CiviCampaign

To work with CiviCampaign :

1. Make sure your site has been upgraded to 3.3
2. Clear your browser cache as well as clear template cache ( purge all contents from files/civicrm/templates_c/ )
3. Enable CiviCampaign -> Go to Administer -> Configure -> Global Settings -> Enable Components -> Select CiviCampaign.
4. Rebuild the menu ( run url : civicrm/menu/rebuild?reset=1 )
5. Also make sure your user has sufficient campaign related permissions.

Hope this help

Hello,

This is now ever more important to me. I've tried everything you've listed here, in exact order, as admin (drupal user 1) and I still can't see a CiviCampaign menu.

It's driving me nuts! Help!
