We have a business in civicrm as an organization and that organization has 1 membership (current, expired, etc.). The employees themselves do NOT have a membership, just their company (so that we don't over count our memberships (i.e. 1 businesses with 5 employees, is only counted as 1 membership, not 5 or 6)

If I want to send bulk email out to all businesses that have a current membership and have each of their employees to get the email, how do I do this?

I've tried to build smart groups and can either get just the organization contact, with no employees to show up.

Hi,

Likely you need to build a custom search to get all the employees of the org that has the membership. Then you can use it to schedule a mass mailing and will work.

You'll need some coding skills, but not that complex:
