Author Topic: After 2.2 -> 3.3 upgrade, errors displayed on Import Contacts screen (Read 1061 times)

I get the following error messages displayed twice on the screen:

Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /****/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Import/Form/DataSource.php on line 77

Warning: closedir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /****/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Import/Form/DataSource.php on line 83

could you confirm upload directory present with your installation ( sites/defaults/files/civicrm/upload/ )
and your apache user has read and write permission for same directory.

We're getting the same thing. I've checked and the folder is set to 777

Ah - found a solution.

Even though the folders were set correctly, it wasn't working. Went to the Update Directory Path and Resource URLs pages. Saved them (even though there were no changes). Now everything works.
