Email cc and bcc not recorded as activities

We've sent out quite a number of emails from CiviCRM, and they are recorded as activities in the sender and main addressee's records, but not in the records of those cc or bcc recipients (although we do receive the cc and bcc's that we send ourselves just to check) and the cc and bcc don't show up when viewing the details of the activity. 

Is this normal?

Looks like this is a "missing feature" (record activity for CC or BCC). You can file an issue on the issue tracker. If this is critical to your organization, consider researching / including a patch to implement this behavior.

Yep, also observed the same behaviour
