Is there away to allow a user to request an email checksum link sent to them?

A lot of websites allow the user to input a single field of email address and then the system will look up the contact info tied to that email address and shoot them an email that provides a checksum link so that they can then update their contact data.

Any way to do this with CiviCRM?

You can put Profiles on the Drupal Edit screen so people can 'request new password' from drupal, and then go update the fields that way. One option.

Hi,

Nice idea, like it. Wouldn't be too complicated to add a "/civicrm/update" feature that asks for an email, fetch the related contact(s), takes a default email template (that contains a /civicrm/update?cs={checksum} and whatelse you want to add and sends it to the email.

Do you have dev skills or budget to make it happen?
