Requires •FeedAPI, FeedAPI mapper = Feed?

Feed replaced Feed API.

Does Feed work with calender and civievent?

Does the event module still require Feedapi Mapper or is there a replacement?

FeedAPI, FeedAPI mapper are required for integrate of CiviEvents iCal feed with Drupal Calendar.
I think you are looking for http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC32/Using+Drupal+Calendar+with+CiviEvent.
