Membership Module causing 500 Error
December 12, 2010, 11:53:40 am
Hello.

I am experiencing a 500 Server Error when this module is enabled.  Here is the senario.

- We have a User Center page that allows the user to access links to edit their profile, etc.  This page also includes the Membership Module to indicate their current memberships.
- A link on that page is to a "Member Search" which takes them to a Custom Profile search that returns by First and Last name, or by proximity.
- After using that custom profile for searching, if you try to go back to the User Center page, it will throw a 500 Error every time.
- If i unpublish the module the User Center page will come up.  Alternatively, if i log out and back in, the error goes away.

Can some please help me with this?  Or can this be reported as a bug?

Thank you!

Curtis

1. might want to check the apache error logs and get more details on the 500 server error

2. not sure what the user center page is, so you might want to give a few more details. are u using civimember?

1)  I'll post the error log once our server guy gets it to me.

2)  The User Center is basically an article with a bunch of user-specific modules.  (See pic)

We do use CiviMember combine CiviContribute to allow new paid member registrations.

Hello,

Sorry it has taken us so long to reply with the requested info.  Here are the errors we could pull from the server logs.  This is related to the Membership Module.

Code: [Select]
[root@tiger httpd]# tail -f access_log | grep " 500 "
