Import Partcipants /Delete Participants Error

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to import large numbers of participant data for several events.  I have created a .csv file with the event id, participant status, participant role, first name, last name, and email.

However, for one of the events, ALL civicrm users are added as participants, and just for that one.  All the other events seem to import fine.  When I try to delete the partcipants from that one event with the error, all participant records get deleted for all events.

Any ideas?

What tool are you using to do the import?

To what table are you importing?

It seems likely that the events history table needs the Contact ID- have you assigned/appended the ContactID to your records?
