Civi reports broke after upgrade
December 13, 2010, 10:21:05 pm
Running a testing site and I get the following error every time I try to change the reports or do any kind of export:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strlen() in /public_html/drup-test/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/IDS/Monitor.php on line 503

I enabled extension =php_mbstring.dll in the php.ini

Still no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jacob Lee

Try deleting everything in your templates_c directory (usually under files/civicrm)

also - can you update your civicrm version on your profile?

[Resolved] Civi reports broke after upgrade
December 14, 2010, 09:48:50 am
I figured it out civi 3.3.1 under drupal requires mbstring be enabled in php. this is not required in past installations I had to rebuild my apache install with that option enabled to get the reporting system to work.

Mbstring enabled php should be listed as a requirement going forward.

Hope this helps anyone else who runs into this issue.
