Misconfigured Contribution Page URL in Reminder email

In my pledge reminder email, civiCRM is building clean urls when in fact my system is not set to use clean urls. Needless to say, these links do not work.

My drupal installation is set to NOT enable clean urls.

What is confusing is that if I create a donation page, the suggested URL (for external use) is a "dirty" url (correct).

What should I do? It will be very confusing to my pledgers to get a 404 error when they click on the donate now url in their reminder email.
