Hi,
after upgrading to 3.3.1 I couldn't find any way to make civicrm visible. Only the new contact forms in frontend are visible with error message described below, but all others are blank. Turning on Joomla debug doesn't help as I don't see there anything that could have something to do with civicrm. As I understand, civicrm has somewhere its own debugger but how to turn it on when I see only blank pages?

After installing the database update page in backend has shown and the new contact forms in frontend are showing

Admin side, as I told, shows only blank pages.

Please tell me what to do?

MySQL:    5.1.53
PHP:    5.2.14

Thanks, but what next? I set it to NULL. Still blank screens. And after I tried to open CiviCRM, this config_backend has value again.

Something still changed:
1) the forms in frontend and task=civicrm/upgrade&reset=1 are without ths error message now;
2) I can add and search for contacts from frontend
3) I can even see user's dashboard

task=civicrm/menu/rebuild&reset=1 and task=civicrm/dashboard&reset=1 both still return blank screen.
Also I can't display the whole contact list in frontend.

Actually the blank screen problems begun when my test page got attacked with nonsense queries (don't know why). Then I renamed the site's folder, domains in civicrm files, upgraded to this newer version and followed also your suggestions.

Could it have something to do with the templates_c folder? That's a particular case. I have to rename it every time when upgrading because the weird folders named as %%A0 and so on are unremovable and unreadable for me (DirectAdmin can't even reset their ownership, neither FileZilla)
